VIKTOR Lacquers s.r.o. develops, produces and distributes special heat seal lacquers, primers, barrier and special lacquers for food and pharmaceutical packaging industry. During 2022 the company changed its owners and its name from the original VIKTOR Trade s.r.o. to VIKTOR Lacquers s.r.o. By this change we want to emphasize that our company not only distributes but also develops and produces special lacquers.

History

Production extension (1998)

Originally, the company was founded for the purpose of trading in special and recyclable sorts of paper; its tendency towards the production of current specialty lacquers, which is exactly what the company is engaged in these days, started in 1998. Since then, we have been successful in penetrating this specific segment of the packaging industry, i.e. the production of special lacquers. We have launched an intensive development of products that are used for lacquering aluminium foils designed in the food-processing and pharmaceutical industries. Initially, we co-operated exclusively with Czech customers. Extensive mutual co-operation and the understanding of our needs have been crucial for the development of our products, in terms of testing of the lacquers under the development and subsequently their commercial implementation. The warehouse we rented was gradually turned into a chemical production plant, with the paper trading steadily diminishing.

New target destinations (2003)

In 2003, our product portfolio was wide enough for us to approach new customers. As part of our effort to build up a new business strategy, a decision was taken to pay attention to the unsaturated, low-competition Central and – in particular – Eastern European markets.

Certification (2004)

2004 brought – among other things – a successful certification of the Quality Assurance System according to ISO 9001:2001 standard.

Plant purchase (2005)

In 2005, we bought the leased building from the lessor, which had already been changed to a production facility at that time.

Production automation (2006)

In 2006, a major part of the production plant was reconstructed including new offices for our staff, increasing warehouse and production capacity – all that with attention to a safe work environment for employees. This project was successfully completed in 2010.

Innovation project (2009-2010)

Between years 2009 and 2010, we realized an innovation project as part of The Operation Programme of Enterprise and Innovation. And in 2014 again. Thus, financial means from both the EU Structural Funds and the Czech Government budget were secured, making it possible for us to purchase new state-of-the-art technology for our laboratory.

RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers) installation (2014)

In 2014 we installed the RTO system to reduce air pollutants.

Merger (2022)

During 2022 the company changed its owners and its name from the original VIKTOR Trade s.r.o. to VIKTOR Lacquers s.r.o. 2022 brought – among other things – a successful certification of the Quality Assurance System according to ISO 14001:2015 standard. The passion for the development and implementation of even better technical and technological solutions is the engine that drives the successful development of our company, at the same time with the aim of protecting the environment.

Present time

In the meantime, the development of new products is ongoing. We successfully continue introducing new products on the market. The number of customers we have, our product portfolio and the production volume is constantly increasing. 

The company has been continuously investing in improvement production technology, products quality and higher production capacity.. 

The trend is now towards expanding our current production with lacquers for water-based lacquers and reactive systems for coil-coating technologies. 

Our lacquers also meet the requirements for Food Contact.

We deliver our products to various countries and continents around the world. These include the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Croatia, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Serbia, Switzerland; Ukraine, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Oman, Turkey, China, Egypt, South Africa, United Arab Emirates
