Viktor Lacquers has a modern chemical laboratory that allows not only the analysis of individual products, but also the development of new products. The laboratory is equipped with modern devices such as an IR spectrophotometer, sealing machine, sealing strength measuring machine or an autoclave.
The company also offers its customers assistance with testing and selecting the appropriate lacquer for individual applications.
A portfolio of water-based lacquers for food packaging is currently being developed. Water-based lacquers are characterized by low VOC limits, thereby reducing the impact on the natural environment. Another advantage is lower toxicity and flammability.
Water-based lacquers under development:
- Primer and HSL system for molten cheese
- Heat-sealable lacquer for yoghurt lids
- Sterilization primer
- Primer for pharmaceutical blisters
- HSL for pharmaceuticals blisters
The development of solvent-based lacquers continues
- Sterilization primer – this primer is intended for applications on paté cups. The lacquer must not only meet high resistance and flexibility, but must also withstand sterilization conditions.
At the same time, we are developing PVC free alternatives for our PVC lacquers, which include a heat-sealable lacquer for coffee capsules or pharmaceuticals blisters.
