PRIMER VIKTOR 880 is a priming, base lacquer to be applied on aluminium and some types of polyester (PET) foils that are used in the packaging industry. Its colour modifications are possible. The most common use is its full-width spread application on foils to get an adhesion layer under printing of graphic motifs or of creating a primary layer for a heat-seal lacquer build-up. The lacquer is highly resistant against the effects of the aggressive whey which enables its application in production of packaging for cottage-cheese and molten-cheese.The lacquer is of the polyester-base solvent type. Due to its thermoplastic characteristics it cannot be utilized in production of heat-sealed lids without a covering layer. PVC free.
